    Singlespeed - Road commuter recommendations?

Hmmm. Seems my subscription to this thread failed. Wasn't notified of responses. I ended up going with an All-City Big Block complete. Thanks for the suggestions. Tame Ape, how's stuff? Where you living? I'm in BK now as well. I looked at the Steamroller and decided to pass.

    Singlespeed - Road commuter recommendations?

So I've been out of the game a bit. I've been riding a converted Chameleon and it's a bit too small for me and I think I want 700c. I'm thinking that I'd like to buy a complete bike, singlespeed/flip flop. I'm getting old so I'll most likely never ride fixed but we don't need gears in flat...

Beware the Dangers of the Wheel

Wow, you're still here. I remember when you bailed for nearly a year. I've got you beat. Were you always in MT, I forget? Seems like you were in Seattle or Washington State at least.. I'm a Brooklynite now and the bike paths are my trails!

    What's the fuss all about?

Oh, and you jesus / lawd god almighty people need to look in the mirror. Keep your hate in your lil places of worship, talk amongst yourself and worry how to bury the news of your pastor/preacher/what have yous' latest molestation case from the rest of the world. Just look at the rest of the...

    What's the fuss all about?

MBA - the Blockbuster Video of the cycling world. Regardless of prop 8 and their dealings and feelings about it, they're losing serious coin here when magazines are folding left and right and have been in trouble since near the advent of the interweb. Religious and other strong misguided...

    What's the fuss all about?

Mountain Bike Action refuses to run Titus ads. In these times, and what with magazines doing poorly especially, why refuse $$ for tame, well done ads? http://www.PDNPulse.com/2008/12/racy-mountain-bike-ads-rejected-by-magazine-.html#comments seriously....

    wanna save 30%?

Been doing that also. Saved $211 thus far. 60 days ain't long to wait especially on things you were already going to buy. Like a rebate thing. Got a Lowepro Compu Trekker rolling backpack and a 580 ex II and a Hoya Digital Pro UV filter for my new 135mm f2L

    Bikes away!

Seems like a car would be more apt to be a bomb me thinks. Plus, people who ride bikes are not generally ones who are prone to blow shet up. Dunno. You heard that you have to be completely naked to go through airport security now right? That's why I BlueFly...

    New Bike Racks - NYC

Kinda cool. David Byrne and all. Anything that promotes more cycling is good. Contrary to popular belief (mostly from people who don't live here or have never ridden the streets of NYC), I find the streets here to be much safer and bike friendly than say a place like Seattle where I was...

Yeah, it is. Not down with the bike or the pattern per se myself, but the idea is bad-ass.
