If you do lots of technical climbing the TALAS may be worthwhile to put your weight more over the front wheel when climbing. Of course you have to be willing to stop and adjust it, so if you're going up down up down etc. you'd probably just leave it.

The below text is from the 06 40 manual, so they must have been using colors by then. Maybe this is from 05??? I just found the below picture on an old forsale thread, I guess the color is pretty obvious for the springs that are color coded! Mine isn't painted, it's raw Ti.
