Hi guys,
I am 5'7" and have always ridden medium bikes (Trek session Aluminum & carbon, Intense Socom & Morewood Izimu). I ended up ordering the small frame and I am very happy with it. It is definitely longer than my older bikes, but it is so easy to ride due to the short chainstays. I don't...
The person you spoke to at Trek does not know what he is talking about. I owned a session carbon, and worked at a trek dealer too and I know for a fact the cups are removable. That is why the bike comes from the factory with a stock headset, and Trek also includes an angleset too. The only way...
I had the same issue you are describing, everything was Sram brand new, checked the hanger alignment, chainline, cables, etc and between me and 3 other VERY experienced mechanics we were not able to get it to shift properly. Contacted Sram and the sent me a new derailleur and still didn't work...
Sorry to derail your thread, but i just want to know if you had to get new brake lines to make it work with the XTR Trail levers or were you able to just use the lines on your saint calipers?
According to shimano tech support, you should be able to use the current Saint hose. Apparently the new hose kits use a different banjo fitting that will not fit the Saint caliper.
Like fantasia said, just for the fact they are tubeless, you will have better traction.
My advice is run 5 psi more than what you normally run with tubes, and fine tune it from there.
You have to find the sweet spot btw having enough traction, and keeping the tire from burping air.
After seeing the article posted above I thought about doing the conversion for my downhill bike, however when I looked at the prices, $1200 for the derailleur, about $200 for the wiring, I didn't even looked into the price of the shifter and battery, I decided it was not worth it.
Specially...

It has been quite the battle to get rid of this nasty virus, I've tried all the software previously mentioned in this tread with no luck.
The only thing that worked for me was Hitman 3.5, the free version will do the trick, but you do have to activate it.
here is the link...
I have been running 3 bolts on all my DH bikes for over 7 years, and never had an issue.
I run only 3 bolts just because I got tired of hitting my rotors and bending them all the time. With 3 bolts the rotors have a little more room to flex sideways, and not bend. However it does require to...
Thanks guys a lot of info here.
I'm still trying to figure out that one. But if you have an opening for someone with an Economics degree, IT experience, professional bike fitting, mechanic, purchasing , and sales. Please let me know.:thumb:
