    I remember the 1st gen Saints and the XT that came with plastic preloaders all experienced broken/exploding plastic preloaders. I jerryrigged more than one set myself similar to what you just did... Get a metal preloader. They're only $13...

    Hope Pro II hub with a broken axle...

    I know this is a problem while running the Maxle-light throughaxle. Something about the hub-axle not being supported properly... Is that the case on your bikes? And I've heard that the new ProII Evo will solve that problem...

    I still use my Roach jacket/vest I bought off her back in 94 or 95... Fookin indestructable. All my favorite riding gear has been old-school Roach, and it's all still going strong.
