Hello, you posted how to remove a axle from a Specialized Stout Hub. I'm not sure of what you meant when you wrote "insert a 20mm axle into the end cap 90 degrees to the axis of the hub". Please explain. I understand you to have meant to insert the 20mm axle into the end cap perpendicular to the hub. Am I understanding your post? Will a 20mm steel rod work, I do not have a 20mm axle to use? Also a drift is mentioned, in a subsequent post, to hammer the axle out. Is a drift the same as a punch?
