24 hours of Rocky Hill

This race is approaching fast. Its located in Smithville Texas, just outside of Ausin. Rocky Hill offers a few challenging hills and terrain, but this race is most notorious for its inclement weather. It ALWAYS rains.

They should call it 24 hours of Mud.

Check it out. Its worth the trip if you like a solid challenge.

You know, lots of times Niterider or Night Pro, or Light in Motion sponsors these events and they loan out light sets to racers. Check out the webpage for the event or call and see who is sponsoring the race. They are always on a first come- first serve basis so you have to reserve them.

Night Rider is a sponsor of 24 Hours of Smithville and will loan/rent lights to you. Its always best to have your own and fill in your needs (spare sets, spare batteries, etc.) with the gear they provide. My experience has been the pickings get pretty slim and you may find yourself without a decent light if you don't get a light very early.
