Geico is for suckers.
i've had state farm for years. 0 regrets. they are great. easy to transfer from local office to local office when moving too.

"local" = MA, NH, CT, RI
Insanely cheap, great coverage and beyond easy to deal with (Arbella Insurance)
I have the same feelings with banks as well. The bank I have my mortgage with is a local bank (handful of offices) that has been in business for 150 years. Easy doing business with them, always talk to a friendly person and never get screwed over.

Some dumb bitch drove into the back of stopped traffic and smashed my Manx clone. They had geico. I made out like a goddam bandit on that deal
Why are you getting all defensive, Hitler?

Had a Geico mouth breather try to pass me on the right, in a string of parallel parking spots, while I was making a right turn. Geico tried to claim no fault because I didn't signal. I still have to look at the sh!tty paint job from the shop they made me go to. And they left off some of my rear bumper brackets so now the underside of the bumper sags down in the middle and collects snow in the winter

At least in Ca, you can take it to any shop you want. Geico can't make you go somewhere.
My best friend is a State Farm agent, so I have State Farm.

I just got my Progressive renewal, they took 30% off after the 6 months with the snapshot data logger on the ECU (just mailed it back). While it had it on they also issued me a $70 refund.

The discount is based on mileage and how often you brake hard (faster than -7mph/s and it triggers). It has a cellular modem in it and it beeps every time you brake too hard. Pisses you off when you have to brake to avoid driving through a light changing or not running into someone who can't drive safely.
I also picked it up right when I was moving so I should have waited until afterwards as I don't drive much normally and with my new location I just bike or walk to work.

I've gotten my homeowners insurance from State Farm for 17 years. I've tried to bundle my auto insurance with them, but they are always like 75% more expensive than Progressive (which I have made claims with and they've been great).
So therefore State Farm auto = fail
