i got my 70-200 back a few months ago. i can't complain...it's been rock solid since i've owned it, and i got it new for ~1450 in 07.

I used an 85 1.2 on a 1DsMk2 and it focused at glacier speed.
Every 70-200 has been nothing but a joy though.
When the lights came up at two, I caught a glimpse of you and your face looked like something Death brought with him in his suitcase.

a friend of mine at work just got his D800 on Monday. nice piece of gear, at least it felt nice... the Nikon controls left me totally flummoxed.

Same thing when I pick up a Canon. Aside from the comfort of the grip (anything from the 60D up feels NICE), the layout is a big WTF.
