Headed to Plattsburgh area looking for some downhill...

    ...where to ride?

Looking for some lift-accessed downhill (and will need bike rental) within a couple hours of Plattsburgh. Where to go? Whiteface? Mad River? Where else should I be looking?

    thanks!

you're close enough that Bromont would be a good trip, easily one of the best places to ride on the east coast

Thanks for considering Whiteface. Just a heads up if you are looking to rent one of our Glory's. It's a good idea to give us a ring at the mt. to reserve your bike. www.downhillmike.com for more....

    thanks!

Jon - Bromont is definitely within reach. Will research it a bit. Thanks for the tip!

Mike - Will give a ring before headed up to Whiteface. How many days advance do you think? I'll probably ride next Mon or Tuesday.

    thanks!

The sooner the better. For example: On Monday August 22 we have our entire fleet reserved. Most days you won't have a problem, but just give us a ring at the mt. No charge to reserve, or penalty if you have to cancel.

    Plattekill for Downhill

I rode and rented a freeride bike from Plattekill. The mountain is not only a great ski mtn but it has some great, I mean great, trails to ride. Enjoy!
