Awesome video! I had a very similar stand-still in the off camber woods section on my race run.

I shot some video of the first event. The video is the first segment of the first episode of High Country Adventures, a tv show from Boone, NC. You can watch the segment at www.highcountryadventures.net We'll be back out there next weekend to try to shoot a better video and talk to some folks about the event. If any wants to wear a helmet cam during the qualification runs on Saturday let me know and we'll be sure to use some of the footage.
