And so it begins...

My first 24 hour race of the season is this coming weekend - and the forecast looks like rain

Wish me luck!

Thanks guys! Should be a good race - there are 5 solo women, all with unique strengths and experience; I think basically we're all at about the same level, so should be exciting

Tammy, at 3:00 when it's really cold out, think of all of us monkeys sitting around a fire chanting, "Tammy, Tammy, Tammy." Best of luck! Go knock em dead!

If it makes you feel any better, I have a 30 mile race on Sunday. Oh, and it looks like gloomy weather for that too. So, I will be thinking of you. Are you wearing all the leopard getup? That's my favorite.

Thanks! It's in Danbury, NC. And yes, it's a little early for me, but the 24 hour season is usually pretty long; I just don't normally get to the first ones

And Heidi - as far as the leopardskin, well you just never know I'll try to get some pics...

At least it is close to home. Not like when you hopefully come to GA.

Yeah, that's true We'll have to see how this race goes before I send in my entry for GA - may have to beef up the training, since Kerry's pretty tough lately

BTW, thanks so much for running defence for me this morning - I really didn't need that junk right before this weekend

You're the best - and quite eloquent, too, I might add

He Tammy, TOI, TOI, TOI, knock them down, you can do it!

I think I'll have to use my invisible baseball bat to win tommorow in the snow
but I'll have fun tommorow.

I'll make some pics of it

Thank you, sometimes the ignorant redneck takes the back seat.
It was my pleasure, anyway.
