    I can't help thinking that the movie and recording industries are going about this the wrong way. Stopping file sharing is an excercise in futility worthy of King Canute. They should be devoting their time and energy to working out ways to make a bob from this phenomenom.

    did anyone read the letter the MPAA sent to the swedish gov't prior to this? It basically said "shame on you for not doing anything. Please listen to us and take action!"

    oh and the RIAA is now also suing YouTube users if they have copyrighted music in the background of a video.
