    I'm placing bets on one of two reasons:
    1) Some kind of terminal cancer or a dimensia issue
    2) Massive f*ing scandal coming down the pipeline that he doesn't want associated with his name.

    There was lots of speculation that they picked this guy so they could have another funeral a la john paul 2. There was such a huge turnout, they thought they could capitalize again. I don't think anybody expected him to live, and now they want somebody else who actually appeals to people.

    that's my guess anyways.
