Best tubeless tires for the greater Phoenix area am/xc type riding?
The title pretty much says it all, but this is a favor for my friend's wife who's trying to buy her husband tubeless tires as a gift. I mean, he could take a certificate, but it'd be more fun to have some bad ass tires all set for xmas.
He's a bit on the xc side with his iron horse mk III, but has been getting more into the all mountain and more rugged trails over the past few years. He tells his wife he "needs" tubeless- I'm guessing you guys have some thorny stuff of some sort around there? I've never ridden there, and my PNW tire selection may not be what he's looking for, so...
Any suggestions?
