Don't know anything about that fork but there must be some oil in there for lubrication. If your seals are a little worn, even broken in, the oil probably just worked its way through.... especially...

What are you wearing on your elbows?

There's a couple knee pad threads here but I was curious what you used for your elbows (if anything).

As much as it's liberating wearing next to nothing on the upper body, I found after a hard...

He's referring to greasing the threads on the bolts of the crowns. That's all. Open up your spring side and see if that shrink wrap is still on the spring. Without it, the spring rattles around and...

Gotcha, thanks. No I didn't have the cover on when I was squeezing the lever. I was topping it up as the lever reservoir was draining. I ended up going caliper-to-lever with the two syringes method....
  11. Trick to bleeding Shimano Saint M810 brakes?

When they work, they work! Although I'm having issues bleeding them right now. I'm using the method that was shown on Pinkbike where buddy pours in oil at the lever while pumping the lever so the air...

    Couple things:

You used to always have oil on the tubes and now you don't: My stanchions have never had a thin layer of oil on them and my fork is full of oil. Maybe after a fresh rebuild I'd get...

You'll have to try it. You realize you're going to reduce suspension travel by putting on a shorter shock, right?

And speaking of 'UnderArmour'... if you wear it for working out, running...etc, shouldn't it be called 'OverArmour'? You're not wearing it under anything.

I have a couple springs but they're not color coded for some reason. Just need the diameter, length and coil thickness of a firm spring so I can be sure of what I have.

From what their website says, the 2014 888 and 380 both have an offset of 46mm. So unless they make a whole new set of lowers to move the axle out for 2015, it'll still be 26 and 27.5 compatible.
