Cool thanks. I'm really struggling with the size question. I was on a large demo before the M/L zerode, so this feels a bit cramped. However, I'm 6' even, so I'm right on the border, and it seems...
How about the increase in top tube reach? Did you go for a Large or Med?
That sounds unusual. The only thing I can think of is that the barrel is not locked into the hook correctly, or the cable is not in the correct path. Here are the shimano instructions:

Quoted for truth.
For the oval chainring feeling, it is often because the chainring is not properly centered. Check the primary chain tension with the cranks at various positions and it should be always the same, and...
Really impressed with the selection of dh gear at Dunbar cycles. When the new-style demo 8s came out they had like six framesets, all in red and black, all hanging in a row. Sick. Lots of nice parts...
The only way you could have 93 links is if you use a half link. Otherwise, it's even numbers only. I tend to just count outer links, in which case you'd need 47. Or 46 if that fits better.
Chain...
Had my own crazy LBS experience yesterday.

Looking at designing a new Zerode-saint-specific chainring. Build the spacer and ring as one piece, and the extra thickness would allow me to tap it directly, eliminating the 4 female nuts at the...
Awesome work.
Seems like they all should be in the same strange art exhibit, along with this thing:

I'm 220 lbs, on a 2012 Ti, and just went from the stock medium ti spring to a steel firm, and it's perfect. For reference:
Medium = 5.5 N/mm
Firm = 6.5
x-firm = 7.7
So going from med to firm...

Can you share a link to this? Where was this posted?
Third ti spring spam thread resurrection in three days.
Huh? Another spammy first-post ti spring thread resurrection?
Thinking of switching over to pivotal myself. My SDG Ifly Ibeam is broken, and a new one is like $90.
Macneil 30.9 post is available. 3ride in North Vancouver is ordering me one in for $39.

I'd assume after five years he'd have it sorted out.
Smells like spam.
The original Honda bike used a ratcheting cvt, and had the same issue. They solved this by using custom gears that were non-round to compensate, "rectifying" the output.
I wish they'd do one with a bit more rise. 20mm is a little low for me.
Anyone know if any other companies are planning to go with 35mm clamp bars in the future?
Looks like Kore is, but what...
another vote for a zerode. once you ride one you realize that they are truly in a whole other class.
Here's one for $3000:

Just did this mod. It's based on a sram x9 9 speed shifter.
You can either order a complete modified shifter unit or just a small internal part that you swap out.
