don't worry honey, i know you're special too...
This is the same advice I would give, you wont want to leave the park when you realize how big it is...A week will let you cover everything and get to know the lines so you can hit them properly.
...
Yep plan on hitting both for sure, might actually bring our AM bikes this year so we can get more out of park riding going than in park...
Yeah whistler gets pretty warm in mid summer, nothing insane but under a helmet it's hot. Just looking for a change of pace, less crowds, better dirt and more laps...
Flip thanks man that is...
Question for all the whistler guys on the board about mid september (14th - 21). How is it? Is garbo still open? We've been going to the mountain for the past 7 years at different times throughout...
I have been using the shazam's since last season (rode them for trail this winter). IMO they are the best shoes out there. I rode impacts for a long time prior and always found them 'too sticky'...
:thumb:
bring back the rock jump!
awesome, what are frame prices on that operator...imo its the best looking bike out there right now.
i think it would make an awesome trail ripper if you could get a reverb to extend far enough up...
thank you, god that was annoying.
Jesus Christ ppl. This thread is about tires and at the very least a new kona. Stop getting all butthurt about a couple bullet stickers.
Amen - this is basically my dream tire hopefully some details come out soon on these guys...
ha yep, they were def my fav tire back the...I have always been a fan of square moto block style treads, took me a while to get used to DHF's as my go to...
awesome update.
maybe maxxis will have some info at the sea urchin race next week?
been wanting exactly that for oh...3 years now.
yeah back in the late 90's early 2000's i loved that thing for xc/dh/trials you name it...yeah black turtle or something...
actually the more i look at them the more they look like tioga factory dh 2.5's back in the day...
which i had a soft spot for.
First off the new Kona looks fantastic, I'd say one of the best looking bikes out there (the bullet thing is just whatever). Look at how the tubes line up front to back...amazing.
About the tires,...
so was I - never been there was planning on racing it.
I think this is great, when you have the resources he has in BC why spend the whole summer flying to competitions? Don't blame him at all and look forward to what he puts out this year.
you just won this thread for sure.
i think we are going to see an increase in these types of bikes very soon, and I bet they arent bad...i do like supporting companies though, dont really support...
Huge fan of the chromag stuff, just feels perfect for me...
