I wish I could just wear and a helmet and be done with it but I can't do that.
I ended up removing the shoulder cups on my Dainese jacket (I might even unstitch the shoulder padding altogether),...
I'll call marzocchi and see if they sell their plastic shrink tubing separately. Either they or I try to sand down the rough surface of the Ti spring.
Yeah the original plastic shrink wrap pretty much crumbled.
I tried 1.5" shrink tubing but it was too thick. Maybe I'll try it again but heat the crap out of it.
Any of you guys find the stock Ti spring rubs badly inside the fork leg? (I searched in this thread but I didn't find a lot of info about this).
I tried shrink tubing and the spring fits in the...
The shell width is 83mm right??
You'll have to double check but it should be two spacers drive side and one spacer non-drive
What year are we in again?
Just looking for something to protect the elbows and forearms a bit during AM riding. I don't think I need anything super heavy duty and I'd like to have some coverage on the forearms.
What do...
That's a nice rack... at first I thought it was for the home.
It was irritating to watch after a while.
Yeah, the slop is in the pivot where the pulley cage bolts in.
I have a beat up Saint derailleur that has some slop in the pivot: the pulley hanger leans towards the spokes of the wheel.
A bit of a shame to leave it in the box when I could use it on another...
These comparisons drive me crazy. I mean really, what's the point? Would they actually turn around and say the new bike was crappier?
Aren't BOS forks crazy expensive, even used??
If that Boxxer has the Ava cart already inside, you might be looking at having to ship the cartridge and have it re-tune it. That's an added cost...
Well, I suppose it all comes down to budget and where you want to go with getting back into DH riding...
For $140 the Push kit looks ok, as long as the rest of the internals are working....
I can see those being useful for trail riding at best. They do specify they're multisport.
Moto fanny packs look pretty good. There are running ones I saw that hold a water bottle on an angle and there's a pocket for small items too. Either something like that or I get cargo moto type...
Yes, that's what I'm going to do.... I'm going to go buy a 'scatchel'
For trail/xc/am riding, I use my trusty old-school camelback that's about 12 years old.
What do you guys use for downhill to carry a few things? As much as I don't want to have any sort of bag,...
Same here. Only took a few weeks. I've actually ordered a couple sets. No issues.
Everything on that fork looks like it's an 8" Boxxer Race except for the chrome tubes.
...unless it was possible to drop 7" Boxxer internals into the 8" chassis.
All the pics of the SGS's...
Haven't seen Bullcrew on here in a few months now
The last time they were relevant was when they made flat crowns for when the Marzo 888 was released.
Yeah, they're trying to market to the 4" tire crowd but when you click on the pic to expand or...
I wonder how long it'll take for EVERYONE to switch over (and I'm referring to the everyday person).
I've always like doing things online because the locals could never compete... especially with the CDN dollar being on par with the US dollar.
Although, in the Vancouver area I realized Dunbar...
