Hiked up today and saw that the dirt jumps have been dozed.
Finally got settled and fixed my bike (roof rack mishap on I-10 near Palm Springs on my drive out...) Going to try to get out for a ride tomorrow (Wednesday) to check out some trails. Riding any...
Sounds great. Also just joined the Hulda Crooks MTB Facebook group. I'll PM you once I get to the area.

Set to move in on March 31! I'll be about a mile from Hulda, so I plan on being there often. Especially before I start working.
Those all look pretty sweet! I'm looking forward to it. I may be moving out as early as April. I'll let you know when I figure out for sure.
Nice! Now get your frame back so we can go ride!
Also, we need to get out and make a video of the pump track and skills park stuff.
Awesome! Are there a lot of features like that in Hulda?
Super... Thanks for the info! I'll hit you up when I make it out there. I've seen a couple vids of Hulda on youtube, looking forward to riding it!
I don't guess there are any trials riders out...
It's probably going to be a month or two before I move out. I'll be visiting for a couple days next week, but mostly to look for apartments and get a feel for the area. Do you live in Loma...
Great! I'm hoping to find a job and move out before August, but I'll definitely be there in August. Do many people do early-morning or night rides at Hulda in the hot months? I'll give you a shout...
Hey,
My fiancée got into LLU med school, so I'll be in Loma Linda by August. I'm driving from VA, so I'll probably just have my AM bike (Jekyll) with me at first. Anyone know the state of the...
If the "buyer" includes directions on how to set up a paypal account, it is a scam.
When you are on Blogger, click on My Account at the top (or go to account settings from any other Google site). From there you can change your language preference. I ran into the same problem when I...
If you use Thompson's, you will have to redo it every year. It's really not that great of a product. If you are planning on moving before then, go for it. Otherwise look at Cabot or Sikkens.
Cabot...
Personally, I think they are just making that one of their repeated jokes, like dropping a piano on a Morris, or bumping into James' car, etc. I would have been more surprised if they didn't set it...
Shorten the intro to 30 seconds or less. 1:30 is way too long.
Umm, there are 26 bones in each foot.
I can't imagine that wearing those shoes for biking would be comfortable or help in any way. It would probably be slightly better than riding in flip flops.
This thread is full of win.
Them "just looking around" means a lot of things:
1. They know what they want, and don't need your help.
2. They don't need anything specific, but possibly want to...
Mine was the same, but we had to write out the honor pledge.
When I was in elementary school, we were told that we would have to write everything in cursive from then on, or else our teachers would fail us.
In middle school we were told that if we wrote in...
I had just meant rotating the cranks if the chainring was old, to see if it was out of round.
You could either turn the cranks to force the chain onto the front chainring, or you could turn the...
If you already have the half-link, you could run that for a short period until the chain stretches out enough to fit. It's probably close enough as-is that you can force it onto the chainring...
Here's a pic of the person's original setup:

I had good luck with a KHE half-link chain on my trials bike, it lasted just as long as my normal...
Phantom rings are cool until this happens:

Go with eod's suggestion. It won't take long and it'll be a cleaner setup.
