Id rule out a one off mechanical affecting Gwin because whatever it was that caused the problem affected his quali and final runs. Not like he Q'd first....he was off the pace then as well.

I would be very surprised if a stock bike with stock damping had an issue like a fundamental mismatch of damper and frame, unless you are physically very different from mr average, I.e you weight...

Seconded. Flow rims suck IMHO for tubeless. Fine for mincing about on gentle XC but as soon as you start hitting berms hard or leaving the ground.....bad news soon follows.

I always wanted a short travel SX but never found one at the right price in the right condition. Anyway, Ive just had confirmation of my order for a new SX. Not sure what forks/wheels/crank to bolt...

i only notice mine squealing when Im not going fast enough....its kind of an inbuilt piss taker :)

Close to a year on mine, been awesome. No leaks, no fade, strong, awesome modulation. Pad wear also improved I'm sure too.

Couldnt agree more with that. I really cant see this new Evo SX being up to SX abuse. I hope to be proven wrong....
