Wait a second! Is this the downhill forum? A std 9mm axle may be stiff enough in most cases. BUT you know as well as I do that a 9mm axle is never going to stand up to what people are putting bikes...

I run a 100cm (99.9) parabolic snowblade the wider the ski the better it is going to work in powder. I have run as long as 110cm ski's when I was running sawed off old school long boards.
