  1. depends what kind of shot you want, if you want to do a panned shot making a background blurred and the rider clear anywhere from shutter of 1/80-1/120 would be fine and adjust your f/ accordingly for a more crisp shot freezing the action between 1/250 and 1/500 work good. to freeze the action even more use your flash.
