SS roadie (freewheel) gearing
so Im looking for a good ratio suggestion for a single speed road bike that is NOT fixed, relatively flat terrain just looking to go fast and not die during smaller climbs

I'm running 46x16 on mine. I can easily run out of gear on flat ground once I get moving, but any taller and my knees would probably explode trying to get it started. Its very flat out here though.
I can climb with it. Its just not pleasant.

For a good rough estimate to calculate your gearing:
(Chainring/Cog) x wheel diameter.
While not exact, for example, mine would be (46/16)x27= 77.6
Yours would be about 79.2, so a bit taller (harder).
I don't consider myself a weak person and the gear on mine is tough to get started at a light. And if I do a LOT of miles on it, I can feel it in my knees, constantly pushing a that big a gear. I don't think I would go much bigger than 77 gear inches to be honest.
So maybe try a 42/15 to start, which would be 75.6, then if that's too easy, put the 44T on.
