When I heard that piece on the radio, it opened with a statistic about how just the state of Texas has released something like 64 people in the last 5 years, mostly on DNA evidence that has exonerated them.

Yeah I heard that too, DNA is solving a lot of cold cases and letting some innocent people go free. Wonder if the same thing happened when fingerprints started getting used.
