Official 2011 Road bike rides pic thread

Lets see your road bikes for 2011. Whether it be your race rig, trainer, etc.

    I am still rocking the 2010 Cannondale CAAD9 4.

    CAAD 9 frame size 54
    Easton Premium fork
    Canecreek headset
    Sram Force crankset
    Sram PC-970 chain
    Sram Force levers
    Sram Force brakes
    Sram Rival F&R derailleur
    3T Ergonova Pro bars
    3T Doric Team seatpost
    3T ARX Pro stem 100mm
    Specialized Romin 155 saddle
    Fizik Microtek tape
Shimano 105 pedals (I HATE THESE)
Mavic Aksium front and rear (not shown) wheelset (winter wheels)
    Continental Grand Prix 4000s tires
    Blackburn carbon cages
    Sigma 1909 STS computer
    Camelbak bottles

I highly DO NOT recommend these wheels. I have had nothing but problems with them. The rear exploded and the front is giving me attitude again. They won't stay true or tensioned.

Still rocking the Eclipse that I built up last February:

Only change I've made since this pic is a set of Nashbar Z11 pedals.

Maybe this counts? My Cross Check in commuter trappings. It spends most of its time in town, but gets some road miles. It's stock except for the seat post, saddle, pedals, rack and fenders. I've also got some Avid Shorty 6 brakes waiting to go on. It weighs just a little bit less than the car it replaced, so I'd like to lighten it up a bit later this year.

Looks amazing, you might hear from me if I ever get bored of my Skeletor. Speaking of, one of these days I really need to get a pic of that thing, I'm too damn busy riding to clean or photograph it!

Looks good! Have you thought about producing lugged steel frames? There is a market from people like me who like the classic look. I've always appreciated lugged frames the most, from carbon to steel.

There are a hundred bagillion people that make lugged steel bikes. When a guy named Frank The Welder builds the bikes the idea of using lugs is pretty silly!

They are super cheap house-brand ones from a distribuitor. Origin8 in this case. The CaneCreek levers are the same shape and a little nicer...

Better pictures. I LOVE this thing. I no longer need a road and CX bike. The geometry is balanced enough that I'd feel comfortable racing on the road with this thing. That can be hard to balance the inherent instability you need with a CX bike and a planted feeling on the rooad. This thing is stable, rocksolid and turns like it's on rails.
