    After the sub/near zero temps of last week, it's barely below freezing this morning. I had a quite pleasant ride in today. Long run then beer after work today.

    I wake up at 7:45 knowing I have to leave by 8:00 to get to a trail to help with some trail work. Both bikes have flats. Go back to sleep, wake up at 8:45. Make an egg and think about the chores i have to do today. Farmers market, laundry, maybe shower, grocery, get rid of the beer cans and trash. Check email. Trail work was cancelled at 8:34 because cops were at the trailhead--it's a bandit, OBV. Sweet, I don't feel bad about missing it now. And my mileage will be reasonable after doing my errands. But, it's 26F outside and I don't like riding for chores in the cold. I need a beer.
    Any ounce of goodness in me was never revived.

    So Yup...... Furnace was on fire on the roof..... What a fun way to start the day, does not look like anything went wrong other than something got into the actual burner.... Imthinking there is a racoon or birds or something that got into it.... Just glad we caught it before it went completely a blaze
