Johann Potgieter wins the 2012 Malelane TOYOTA Downhill Challenge on his 2012 Jedi!
Rider owned! I saw this news on Sunday, super awesome news for Lance & Chris Canfield!
Give it up for rider/racer Johann Potgieter as well he was 4.1 secs ahead of World Champ Greg Minnaar!
" The upset came when Pottie snatched the victory from 2012 DH World Champion Greg Minnaar by 4.1 seconds…"

The rider won, not the bike.

No he was just along for the ride.
Pretty sure its engineered with lance and Chris's DNA, the rider was only for looks the bike had it all by itself...

Yes, that is why I said give it up for rider but keep in mind he was on a Jedi!
I guess if you own a Jedi you do not need carbon, lol.

Just think how much he'd have won by if he was on a Zerode!
-
If you were a WC racer, would this kind of sensationalism make you want to go to smaller/local races?

The real question is could a magic Zerode beat Dr. Who and his telephone booth? Anybody plot the axel path for a tardis yet?
