    IXS helemts

    Does anyone have an IXS Metis helmet? Any info?

    very common helmet in the german bikeparks i went to this year.

    Good styling, i asked about it too in the gondolas going up.

    seems its a good fit for most, way cheaper then it looks, and feels.

    Very IXS i guess, they are doing good things for people on a budget.

    But as with all helmets try before you buy ? or at least make sure you can return it if you buy online

    It's essentially the same helmet as the Fly Racing Default, just more expensive.

    How does the sizing compare to a THE or TLD?

    I'm not sure I trust that review. I had the THE and it was so close to my face that it rubbed on my chin. I've read this in every THE review I've read except theirs.

    I had one on order for close to 6 months along with some knee pads and when we went to login to the site to check our shop order the website was no more and we never heard another word from IXS.

    I'd steer clear - - ABS shell. CPSC but no ASTM, etc. certs.
