D3 sizing - pad swap question
If im correct the EPS liner in the M/L are the same, so to make a M bigger i can fit the L pads?
If so are the cheek pads and liner sized or just the liner?

From my experience, the M comes with thicker pads AND thicker 'red' foam (EPS liner?) than the L's..

So is the headliner on a medium and a large the same? I've been looking for a medium headliner everywhere with zero luck

Same outer shell & hard (black) foam
But the soft (red) foam and removable pads are thicker on M

The EPS liners are the same on the M and L, so you can fit the M, or L headliner/cheekpads in there. It's up to you.

Nope. The red foam is different (once again, thicker on M). I had an M and used L pads. You can remove them though. Cheers.

its only the headliner bit i need, my cheekpads are fine. the headliner got shrunk in the wash! when you say the removable pads are thicker on the medium, does that include the headliner? or are you only on about the cheekpads

Yes, the M Headliner is also a little bit thicker than the L one..
Hope you can find a new one, i think i saw the white ones on ebay couple months ago.

So putting L pads in a M helmet would slacken it slightly?

And it made a perceivable difference in sizing?

I was shipped a medium by accident as well and then they sent me a large liner. I still have the medium (used it once). Send me a pm if you're interested.
