Colored spokes NOT RACIST
Does anybody have experience with prowheelbuilder.com's colored spokes?
http://www.prowheelbuilder.com/pwb-b...ge-spokes.html
They appear to be the same colors as "CN" spokes:
http://www.cnspoke.com/products/spok...ons/option.htm
Are these any good?

Will they let you buy them? Will you have to prove that you are a pro?

If you're not a racist, then don't worry about the colored spokes making you faster.

Thanks, I will stick with amateurish caucasian spokes.

are those loaded spokes heavy? (i know that sounds silly but you can add a lot of weight heavier with spokes) they are a really good price. was thinking about getting some.

i prefer silver spokes. does that make me a bigot?

only if you pick them exclusively. You have to have at least 20% diverse spokes.
The loaded spokes appear to also be from CN's line, just further down the page. "ionized" finish, or something like that? Good to hear that they hold up though, that's my main concern. I'm building straight gauge stainless, but I don't want to be popping spokes.

ya but then sometimes they appear to be "token" spokes, like the one diverse guy at the table in the Applebee's commercial. always work hard to get really good diverse spokes so noone can make that claim.
