    2012 Windham World Cup

So what's going on? Any monkey's down there yet snapping pics of the teams setting up, walking the course, getting up to shenanigans in the pits?!

    I'm thinking for the men:

    Gwin (who else?)
    Minnaar
    Hill
    Hart
    Hannah

wildcards are S Smith and Bulldog

    for the ladies
    Ragot
    Atherton
    Nicole
    Hannah
    Gatto (Canadian pride!)

I think Peaty is back (finished 71st at MSA with a crash), but I can't imagine he is at full strength with his busted hammy. Sucks too, as he clearly likes the course and would definitely be a podium threat (if not a threat to win) under normal circumstances.

EDIT - just read the Syndicate MSA report, and it sounds like Peaty maybe be closer to full pinner mode than I thought.

If I can wrap up my school crap, I will be there on Sunday with my young gun...cowbells in hand, spreading free love across this free land!

Shake a cowbell for me, first year that I'll miss it. Too far to go with a 1.5 year old who can't sit still in a car.

I'm heading down tonight so I can be shooting for first practice in the AM.

I'm not sure who is in my top-5 yet, but probably have to put the Notorious S.P.A.G. in there. He looked amazing at St Anne and was working like a beaver. I don't think anybody did more practice runs than him. Not that you can win at practicing though.

Isn't Windham a bit shorter than other tracks? That may give us chances for some non standard Gwin win results. I'm counting on some wild gun taking it.

A shorter, faster track means more precision, not less.

Yes it is shorter, I wouldn't count on a non-Gwin win but it's definately possible since any mistake can kill you on a shorter track like this as the times should be closer together. I'm thinking of hitting the road 5 AM Sunday and getting out there for this.

Yes but a few wide lines may make you more time than on a long track that requires you to not make mistakes through the whole of it to make it. As DH Dad said - the times will be closer so there are chances. I wouldn't say I believe Gwin won't win so your big badass USA banner is safe

Not to sound like an a$$, but how hard is it to meet the pros and get a coupe autographs on Saturday? Ec
With the stock market as messed up as it is, the sperm bank is the only one giving me interest.
