Nice to have another option in a smaller diameter for trail riding that's all....
    Currently running a Gamut G25... 34T max.

There are a bunch of riders who really do want no larger than a 32T, and maximum ground clearance. I also get a lot of interest for 30, 31, 32T ring sizes for guys riding 29er rigs.

This particular model came about as a result of the silly low bottom bracket on the newer Demo 8, and a request from Specialized/Monster so that they could run their 1x7 setup (which I believe is great for anything gravity related).

We also have some other cool little bits that we had on display at Otter...LG1tr (trail), XC/AM geared hubs, a flippable version of our Guidering designed for use with the XCX-ST line, etc.

    Pretty Pictures and writeup HERE

I'd be into a 30T ring for my Gamjam.... Hence my interest in the SRS +32 guide... my low BB on the frame for my trail needs...
    Nice to hear...
    Thanks Philip.

I agree, I want that setup for my DH bike (which incidentally is even silly lower than the Demo, at about 12.9"). I need a 37t ring with a normal 11t cassette for some of the stuff I ride, but the extra clearance of a 32t ring would be awesome.

Wanna make me really excited? Make a smaller bash for the LG1+ that would retrofit onto my current 32-36t backplate. Ideally 32t only. Please?

    Bump.

    Anything on this yet?

Or, a smaller 32t sized taco for an LG1+ would be awesome. Or both!

    Yes.

And have the new 32 specific guide plate in two parts, so you'd be able to run the upper bits alone with a bash if wanted would be nice. Like the current STS+ and LG1+ guides. Probably not happening, but...

Want to run a full bash, but have better upper retention than something like a Jump Stop. Stick the lower bits back on if wanted or needed.

Hell, it'd all be much easier if the SRS and LG1 lines were combined and made modular somehow to swap upper and lower slider bits, bash ring, taco guard, rollor or no roller, etc. around based on your particular needs. Get a new bike and need something a bit different? Order up the new bits you need and swap away. Having a bit of adjustability to move the SRS bits around would be nice, yes, at the cost of some weight and durability maybe by having more moving parts.

Wouldn't this make it easier on the manufacturing/inventory end of things as well though?

Been using an LG1+ on my trail bike a bit, but want to use a full bash. Being able to just adjust the lower roller a bit, swap the upper guide bits over would have been easy and cheap compared to purchasing a whole new setup.

Which, I guess, is the point if you are a maker and seller of chainguides.

    Hey CS,
I would give The Hive a shout... 800.801.9936 for up to date availability. Last I heard, it was somewhere around this time...
