fsa headset removal question

Anyone here work for fsa?

I have one of the lower end orbits and am upgrading to a skypilot. I went to see how difficult it would be to take the old fsa off and I think because I use a headlock the top compression ring is immovable and I cannot get my fork out. Any help or ideas would be excellent. thankx!

Happens all the time.Just get a rubber mallet,NOT A HAMMER!!,and knock the fork out of the headset.If that dont work then I dont know what to do;)

i DID try that but i wasn't bangin' very hard. wanted to make sure there wasn't some easy way i didnt know of before i tried to whack a little harder. thanks for the help though!
