Anyone have any news on the nixon and stance recall?
apparently due to tyres fowling the crown at full travel.

I also heard that rumor last week - but haven't hear an official word from Manitou yet.
Yeah, got all the info.
There is a clearance issue. Not that big of a deal unless you bottom it out and the tire impacts the crown going....let's say 40 mph.
That's all no biggy eh?

Is the recall online anywhere and what is the fix? Just wondering since I run a Nixon Elite on one of my bikes.
thanks

Haven't seen anything online but you should contact the shop or the bike manufacturer from where you bought the fork for details. From what I understand if you run some big tires and the distance from the tire to the arch is less than 22mm then you may have clearance issues. I've been told there is a temporary fix-part that will reduce the travel 4-5mm or so. Some time later Manitou is supposed to release a new fix-part that will restore the 5mm.

i did a google search an it said that only a few of the forks are defective. the main thing is rotor size compatibility
