I don't see anything funny at all. Please explain yourself in words that are not offensive to that man's family.

[where's that brick wall smilie when you need it?] the humor arises not from the beheading itself but from its juxtaposition with bush's claim that iraq and afghanistan are models for the region.

Seems to me he doesn't have a sense of humor.
Don't get me wrong here, what happened to that guy was absolutly horrible.

And, you know, what happened to Iraq and Afghanistan. That was pretty horrible too. Don't forget that. I know one US guy getting beheaded tends to make the news more than thousands of civilian deaths at the hands of your army, but still. Try not to forget, eh?

Yeah, I know all that, but nicklin was mad that we were having fun at the expense of that guy.

I was laughing at your President and his utter lack of grip on reality. Now I'm laughing at yours.

eh, i wouldn't be so harsh. he's consistent at least, very sensitive about both this and japan's lack of apologies, etc. so he has a grip on reality, albeit a different one. maybe not looser, probably not tighter :D .
