Okay everyone, here's your chance to vote to give Brian Peterson a big raise and a promotion. He takes our crap and keeps coming back for more. 'Zoke should be the one to give him that elusive gig where he gets to ride all day and everyone gives him free parts. Vote yes or no, I say hell yes. :thumb:

I voted no, he has to stay in his crummy postion with meager pay so he'll feel justified in spending countless hours of company time on the internet bashing heads with cyber punks about the merits of a special coating on stanchions.

Hmm... For some reason I expect the no's to far outweigh the yes votes....
But, there had better some of the grassroots guys placing yes votes!!
Brian
I voted he should replace Bryson, so he can realease a new 1.5 fork called the "Peterson"

No way... I am going to do a 2.8 steertube... I don't want a steertube that is smaller than my tires!!!

Just wanted to show Brian that there's no hard feelings towards him personally even if we don't always agree. I figured he wouldn't want to give us any contact info for his boss (!!!) so maybe this will help...depending on how the poll goes... :D :D
At least make it a round 3" on the new fork standard. Think of all the time that could be saved not having to type .8 in all those bitch threads it will generate.

Yeah and you have to provide clearance for 3" tires for the 1% of riders who actually think they need them.

I say we fax his resume to Manitou and get him a job there. Then he can get on the internet and answer 500,000 questions about why Manitou's break....

Hell no... If I am designing a fork, it will be around what I want (I am a bastard like that)... I personally have no desire to run a 3.0 tire...

Hmm.... Make mental note... Reconsider SEI Racing's sponsorship status... :D

Come on Kronphlake, 'Zoke took a lot of crap when 3" tires wouldn't fit earlier forks. Brian already pointed that out, do we need to again?
If people want to ride 3" tires, there will be someone to sell them. Bike companies are not in the business of selling only what people need, they sell what people think they need...that is, they sell what people want.
And yes they're responsible for generating the hype and making people think they need what they really only want, or think they want. So what? Supply and demand works great if you create the demand for a product you supply. Good for them. It works on me on all the time...my parts bin is overflowing with stuff I thought I needed...when really I just wanted the latest widget...

Keeping in Scott's spirit, maybe you guys could make some 3.0 smooth tires for the paved "DH trails" in SoCal.
JOKING, JOKING.

James, how many sets of lowriders crowns have you guys sold so far? If you don't know exactly, can you give us an estimate?

Um . . . I think that's the kind of information that gets me fired. All I can say is they sell faster than we can get them made.

I hear they don't actually give him a salary, he just gets his pick of the Marzocchi girls whenever he wants.. Kinda like Hugh Heffner in a way.

I think yes for the raise but no for the promotion if it means he won't coming aroung these parts any more.

I hear that Marzocchi is soon going to come out with their NEW standard for FR/DH steerers. Instead of the crappy 1.5" steerer, they're going to come out with the superior 38.1mm steerer. Who needs this crappy american technology anyway?? :thumb:

$2.50 an hour would more than double my pay.... Ask any of the industry guys here about our pay scales in this gig... But I do get a week in Vegas paid, so that helps..
Nope.... They do everything possible to keep me away from the Bomber Girls... But, I did have one buying me shots a few years ago.. But, this years girls are good friends of mine already. So, they will be fun to hang out with this year... Oh, did I mention they are both pretty good riders too?
Hmm... I wonder if I could get away with slippers and a robe for Interbike?

maybe jenna could take brian's place, and have her own advice column on RM...page hits would certainly increase exponentially, considering how many blue-balled testosterone overdosers are on this site. :)

Hey that's pretty good, 47 people voted in favor so far. Wasn't sure how it would go but right now it looks even better than Bush in Florida...
Aww, we like him, we really like him. Sniff, sniff.

All the "no" votes are just jealous :monkey:'s that wish they could pimp it out with the Marzocchi girls...
Looks like a landslide - no recounts needed!
