Conditions @ Snowshoe for this weekend?

Checking the weather history, it looks like Snowshoe got ~1.3" of rain yesterday and the day before.

What has this done to the trails? Can anyone who is actually there tell us? (No speculation please: "Oh it's going to be a mudpit for sure bra")

Hopefully I'll hear from some folks by tomorrow night, when I'll decide if I'm going or not. Thanks.

At my seat at the bar at Foxfire it should be about 70....me and DBR will probibly be there, trying to close the place the night before the race...McSketcherson says he's buying us all a round on Friday!!! Be there for happy hour.....

Where's Hulk at? Snowshoe seriously needs a live webcam so we can get some idea of the conditions up there.

The DH side will not be bad if the forecast stays correct, sunny for the rest of the weekend. Since it gets the most sun and wind, it will dry a bit quicker than the basin side. Tacky would be perfect for raceday, but meh...it's Snowshoe, you can't come and there be no mud.
