I have been riding a ridig fork on my Planet-x for a while now. I mainly ride street on it though. All I can say is that it sure feels nice, fast, light, responsive, durable and er rigid. In my opinion a rigid is a lot nicer and gives a better ride feel than those squishy things(forks). If you want to feel the terrain instead of just floating over it, go for a ridig one.

depends on your skill, confidence, riding spots. If your new its easiest to get into it with a 4-5" fork, after i got "better" i went rigid. Now im on 4" and lovin it.
