I have mainly been a xc rider but in the past few months have been starting to freeride and am looking to get into dirt jumping. I have ridden my current bike (Trek 4500) harder than it can handle and am looking to get a freeride/dj bike that i can still rock the technical trails on. If anyone has any ideas for what im looking for please let me know.

[shameless plug]

We make a couple bikes that may interest you. The Preston FR is a 4" dual suspension frame that makes for a great do it all bike.

We also make the Trail-or-Park hardtail for urban, DJ, and trails. It is intended for more serious abuse.

You can check em out here:

do you want a hardtail or a full squish? are you more concerned about durability or pedal ability? what is your price range? complete bike or frame? would you be willing to buy used? being new to the forum i should let you know that most people will be glad to help you find that perfect rig but there is so much more than just the type of riding we need to know.

I hate to sound like a Haro rep, but try a demo ride on this bike if one is avail in your area. one of my riding buds have one, and really digs it. :thumb:

I second the transition trail-or-park bike. Those things are badass! I want one baaadd!
I just can't justify buying one right now, because I already have a perfectly good steal Jumping bike.

Transition is a the kind company you want to buy from too! check out their web page.
