Ha, I read a quote the other day that was like,
"I think it is absurd that people who have a medical need for coffee have to wait in line behind people who see it as some kind of social activity."
Coffee is breakfast.
I have a huge cup of French Press coffee that looks like motor oil every morning. Then on my drive to work, I have protein powder mixed with 1% milk. But that is an afterthought, the coffee is where its at. :)
Other: Apple Fritter
I hate coffee.

Best breakfast ever is a big omelette and hashbrowns after a night of drinking. The hard part is to wake up for breakfast before you're too hung over so that you can sleep it off after the meal.

No flavored creamers, just a little 1/2&1/2 (half cream and half milk Yannis)

Other than right before an epic ride, I almost never eat breakfast. Adding 15 minutes more sleep time to get me up to 4 hours total is way more valuable. Black coffee or grapefruit juice is where it's at.
On a semi-related note, did anyone see footage of the LAPD Donut Eating Contest on Sportscenter last night/this morning? I almost crapped myself laughing.

There's a good reason for this, I grew up in "apple country" up in northern california. Dozens of apple ranches were literally right next to where I lived, I even worked at a few during summers. Unfortunatly, despite there being some great terrain in the area, there were no farkin mtb trails...

For somebody who does not drink coffee, you just nailed that description.
That is exactly what it is like.
As a matter of fact, coffee has changed my tastes for other food and beverages.
I use to drink coke, sweet tea, and all that crap.
But once I started drinking my coffee black all the time, I got off sugar all together. I don't even like sweet beers at all.
And you guessed it, Guinness is now my favorite choice of suds.

I agree. Wait a second...were you referring to a wake&bake, knockin' boots or dirt jumps?
This turned into a coffee thread, way to derail guys ;)
I left out sit-down breakfasts because most of the time folks don't have the time.
Next poll? Favorite post ride meal
