6" monsters?

is it doable? i figure if you replace the top-out springs with some 25mm longer and replaced the main springs with some custom ones (progressive wound, higher rate and 25mm shorter) and maybe upped the oil a bit, you'd have a nice pair of 6" forks that are more bombproof than ozzies cave.

do you think it would work? :confused:

Yeah no problems, you got it all pretty much right but why raise the oil level, pretty sure you just do the springs so it is always 1" into it's travel. I'm not a fork expert but i have ridden a Monster that had been shrunk to 6" (didn't actually measure it) the guy had it for sale as a 6" and said head swapped the springs out.
