OK....so I need to get better fitness for firefighting...I got two options

Go to a gym....which I really don't like doing but may have to end up doing

or

Go back to taking Brazillian Jujitsu which is fun as hell and I'm sure to go everyday...but I won't develop the type of muscle strength that I could from going to the gym. but I think I will stick with in the long run.

buy some weights to keep at home and take the jujitsu classes

If you intersperse the gym visits with your jujitsu class, you might be more inclined to go, since it becomes less of a routine. Maybe try to hit the gym twice a week - that way, you have your fun class that you'll enjoy, and will get you in good shape, and you get a little lifting in there without it becoming boring.

tie weights to your limbs, then go to jujitsu
