Just testing my logic.

In order for Saddam to be a threat to the security of the US and the UK he had to have the means (WMD) and the intent.

As he did not use WMD when attacked then either he had none or had no intention of using them.

So, he either had intent but no weapons or weapons but no intent. So he was no threat.

But he was an evil bastard to that's OK

He also had no means to deliver them to the US. The only country Westerners would care about that he could reach was Israel...

However it also demolishes any arguments that might come up should any WMD be found that will justify the decision on an 'he was a threat after all' basis.

Actually it isn't 20/20 - before the war people were asking why we didn't go after real known threats like North Korea or the dozens of other countries (including Israel) that violate dozens UN rules...

NK, Israel, etc aren't a threat to the US nor did we attack Iraq for UN violations... that too was jsut an excuse. Y'all know this, so where's the problem?
