V brakes! Help!

I bought a V brake for my new hardtail (which has yet to be assembled).

I bought a Dragonfly lever and an Oddessey cable, but I am worried that the lever and cable only work for U brakes?

What's the deal with levers/cables for V brakes? Can I use the same ones or is there a diffirence?

Pros and cons?

I really hope i can use a "normal" bmx lever with my V brake cause the levers i normally see on V brakes suck...

yes you can use it, it just takes more time to set up and your lever will always feel squishy but it will still work well...hope this helps
