Maxxis DH tires for $29.99ea (any model/compound/size!!!)

I have a super good line on any model of Maxxis DH tires including 40 (Slow Reezay), 42 (Super Tacky) and 60 (Firm) The price is $29.99 per tire and that includes all DH casing Minions/High Rollers/Mobsters etc. I can also get wire bead 2.35" 1-ply tires (60 compound) for $19.99ea. The only tire that costs more is the Minion DH/R 2.5 UST and those are $45.99ea. The deal is though it has to be in high QTY. to get good shipping. So I need at least 10 tires to make it work. Any :monkey: 's in the south bay or SC specifically let me know if you are interested and we can put together a group buy. I can put the entire purchase on my CC and take cash to cover orders. Once the tires are received (in Santa Cruz) we can distribute them amongst ourselves however is most convenient and inexpensive. This might be a long shot but for this price it could be well worth it! :thumb:

(if someone wants to buy 10 tires for themself, they can be shipped direct to you. Otherwise shipping is about $12 for a pair. That's why I am arranging a group buy to save on shipping)

I would suggest 2.5 High Rollers or Minions and comp 60 if you want them to last, or comp 42 or 40 if you want ultimate performance and a short life span...

Once we know how many total tires, I will find out the shipping cost total, then divide it by the # of tires total and then for each person, I will multiply that by # of tires they got. so if total shipping is $40 bones and we have 20 tires, then $2ea. tire so you (Luc) would pay $4 shipping total then. (hypothetical #'s of course but hopefully somewhat accurate)

He said if I could put together a large order...the rest is history. Anyway I just wanted you guys to know who stoked us out! Now we have to arrange how/where to distribute the tires? SC peeps no problem, other yay area monkey's??? let's work it out. No need for a car in SC anyway! Depending on where exactly we want to ride will decide where we should meet up. I think an afternoon ride would be good for me but I'll figure it out today. Mailboxes itself is short so usually we ride a few trails or loop it multiple times. Typically I like to ride one of the UC trails and then go over to mailboxes or vise versa starting from HWY 9/Wilder/Twin gates. Are you down to ride for a few hours with some moderate pedaling or mostly looking to cruise?

The 2.35 High Roller you ordered is a single casing, is that what you wanted? all the others are DH casing, Mike (@ Beyond Bikes) said he thought all of the tires were DH but the 2.35's aren't I guess. Is this a big problem for you? You're other tires are all DH as are all tires larger than 2.35...

It also just occurred to me that SC 2.35 tires were offered to me @ $19.99ea. I was charged $29.99 for your 1) 2.35" tire but I don't feel comfortable calling for a $10 refund seeing as they (Mike) really took care of us and hooked up on the shipping (2/3 actual cost!) I am offering to cover the $10 discrepancy if you are bummed on getting a singly casing tire.

It was quite nice indeed!

I stacked on the first day (in the rain) on the national DH course and sprained my wrist but after 1-1/2 days off and a tight wrap I was good to go. I still have severe bruising all down my thigh and lots of other places but all in all it was worth it as always! Garbonzo runs are sweet! Very natural, rugged singletrack for miles and the improvements to the lower mountain are also nice.
