and it seems like theres a few monkeys here. just got out here a couple days ago, so i'm lookin for places to ride and people to ride with. i'm out here for the summer, living just off Bay st, taking some classes at UCSC. explored wilder for a few hours today, but riding alone sucks. so post here, pm me, call me 413-218-0108. i've got my Saber here for trail riding and stuff and i just got a hardtail so i'm looking to start doin some urban and dj's.

if you ride DH go up to north star its the best riding in the state in my opinion

Ride up to the UCSC trails and just peel off on any one of the trails. I guarantee you will run into either me (Kona Bear Dee-Lux with ugly ass red tires) or El_Chimichanga (blue V10 w/888) or 911 (Black Yeti DH9 w/Boxxer) or any one of a few others out there. Since you have ridden Wilder already, I suggest you climb up through Wilder and go all the way up to "Grey Whale" over to "Twin Gates" (UCSC connection). Once you cross the road (Empire Grade) follow the fire road about 1/4-1/2 mile to the first clearly defined single track on the left that goes into the trees. Once you get just under the canopy pick any of the trails that split from there and follow them down to HWY 9, when you get to the HWY just double back and when you get back to twin gates instead of crossing the road, this time go downhill on the street about 80-100yds, there will be a hole in the barb-wire fence on the right. Follow that trail (1 mile or so) until you hit a dirt road, go right again and follow that downhill around the gate and onto the singletrack for about 2 miles (very fun) until you come to another poor condition fire road go right again and after about 1/4 mile you will end up back in Wilder, go downhill on the fire road back to the entrance(where you started). If this sounds confusing don't worry in SC all trails go to the same place, basically just go in the correct general direction and you will funnel down to where you want to be.

cool. i'll try to figure that out. i hit the trails behind ucsc on sunday. holy crap! soooo flowy. i'm probably gonna go there tommorrow afternoon again, i get out of class at 5 so i'll probably be there by 6 and ride till dark. i'll be on an azonic saber.

I gotta figure out what 911 and mike are doing. We were going to drive up in Aaron's, Dad's, car...and if we time it right, we should be there the same time as you guys. I'll talk to him today and see what's up.
