Price Question, GT rebound

Well I aquired this bike from my roommate. Price tag says 250 on it, and I'm just wondering what you guys think its worth.

it's a nice bike. i had one, the same model. it's a bit on the heavy side but has a really good ride to it it's 525 chromo. the ruined it later on by moving to alum. i think i paid new 550 or something like that. so if it's in good shape you got a decent deal.
very sturdy bike and can really take a beating.
