I am looking for a medium priced truing stand. Any recomendations?

Park makes a decent one but it isn't great but for the money you can't beat it. If you are serrios about true I would spend the extra cash to the nicer Park but I am not made of money either.

You can get by with almost any of the cheaper stands and a dishing tool. You have to decide how often you will be building wheels. I use an old Minoura and its a piece of crap but it works well enough for my 5 or 6 builds I do a year. One of these days I'll get a good shop quality Park. They are the ****.

Maybe chu cud know sombody wat works in a metal chop, cuz it would be simple as pie ta build a truing stand aound an old wheel. Juss draws him a peekture an give him a wheel an' if he's a real friend chu cud have da best truing stand in da hood.

I just got the Minoura portable. About £60, same in $ probably, and its fine. Before that I was using a zip tie on a canti boss, with the wheel in the droputs
