Santa Cruz Crash Replacement Warranty

Could anyone give me any details and what they have experienced utilizing the Santa Cruz Crash Replacement Warranty.

I used it about 4 or 5 months ago for my bullitt that had a crack in the top tube by the stem. $500 for a brand new frame. I had bought the bullitt when they first started making them, I think in '98. Rode the heck out of it, literally abused it. So I figured the $500 was worth a brand new frame.

i found a crack in my 2000 superlight rear triangle last weekend and have sent it back to sc for replacement. my lbs is taking care of the details but i think its going to be $250 + labor.

i sped up my purchase plans to buy a heckler but now there arent any xl frames in socal.

i've been very depressed for the last week. :(
