Tire Valves in China?

Hi,

I'm in the States and will be biking in China. Will be using a rental bike there so am going prepared. My question is: I'm bringing a handpump which works with both presta and schrader valves. Has anyone rented a bike in China and/or knows what type of tire valves they use (in other words could I get stranded even bringing my pump along?!).
